Who's ready for some good news?

Dottie had three healthy puppies yesterday!

To begin with, I just want to thank dear, dear Dottie for waiting until nine o'clock in the morning to go into labor. I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I was for that. She did quite well through her labor, and after a while she delivered a light little male. He is likely to be a cream piebald. After that, came a chocolate piebald male, followed by a light colored female, who is also likely to be a cream piebald. They are all healthy and well, and we are absolutely thrilled!

We had considered giving one of Dottie's puppies to Batik to tend, but Batik seems to be pretty much back to her old self. In addition to that, since Dottie only had the three puppies, that would make two litters, one with two puppies, and one with only one puppy, and how could the one puppy even keep warm all alone like that? We would never do that to the little pups.

So, I guess all''s well that ends well, right...?
